Simpsonville, SC is an amazing city that has seen amazing growth over the last few years. The town got it’s name from Peter Simpson in 1886. One of the cornerstones of the town’s history is the Simponsville Cotton Mill which operated from 1908 to 1989.
Discovery Island Waterpark is great place to cool off on a warm summers day. The park offers a lazy river, boogie boarding, and water slides. After a hot day in the sun what better way to cool off then a cool ice cream from Ice Cream Station. The ice cream shop is inside an old train depot. The train depot was built in 1960 and served as the Seaboard Air Line Railrod depot.
